With the launch of our new production facility in Bari, Midsummer Italia is now strengthening the team with a Maintenance Electrician who wants to contribute to the growth of renewable energy and advanced manufacturing.

About the role

As a Maintenance Electrician at Midsummer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and performance of our electrical installations, equipment, and production machinery. The role is broad and varied, combining day‑to‑day maintenance with preventive work and continuous improvement of our production environment.

You will work closely with mechanical and production teams to ensure stable, efficient, and safe production.

Main tasks of the role

• Perform construction, repair, and preventive and corrective maintenance of low‑voltage electrical installations

• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and independently carry out basic electrical measurements

• Maintain and troubleshoot industrial machinery and production lines

• Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to identify and resolve technical issues

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, health and safety requirements, and internal procedures

You are a hands‑on electrician with a structured approach to problem‑solving and a strong sense of responsibility. You work effectively both independently and as part of a team, communicate clearly, and adapt well to a fast‑paced production environment. You value working in an international setting and contribute positively to collaboration across cultures.

Required qualifications

• High school diploma with electrician specialization; post‑secondary education from an Istituto Tecnico Superiore (ITS) is a strong advantage

• Valid electrician certification or license

• Proven experience in construction, repair, and maintenance of low‑voltage electrical installations as well as industrial machinery and production lines

• Good understanding of electrical diagrams, measurements, and electrical safety regulations

• Fluency in English (minimum B2 level)
